A hobby of mine is the archival cleaning of gravestones for family members. By request, I will perform archival cleaning of a headstone or monument for veterans, first responders, at no cost, or other graves by special request. I use a nonionic archival detergent (D2 Cleaner), plain water, and non-damaging brushes to clean a headstone. I do not repair or re-set stoneworks. I perform cleaning with due care, but given the natural characteristics of stone, I do not assume responsibility for any unlikely subsequent damage or deterioration.
